We're all created equal

We're all created equal, at least that's what the Declaration of independence does say
then why don't we all treat each other that way?
Why can't we all just get along
instead of treating each other wrong.
Why do we have racism, sexism, and all the rest
everyone thinks that they are the best.
We are all equal, that is true
all this awful treatment is making me blue.
